Breakfast in the summer salon
Breakfast is served every day in the former summer salon of the Château. You will find a selection of bread from our favourite bakery and home made patisserie. Organic cheeses, eggs and cereals, honey from the Morvan and seasonal fruit complete the offering. Our fair trade coffee capsules and organic tea from Kusmi will guarantee a smooth start of the day.
Our summer salon, where breakfast is served is a perfect summary of what the Château is all about; contemporary art and a great bespoke breakfast buffet from three Dutch designers in a classic architectural setting. If the weather allows it, you can pick up your plate and step into the garden for an outdoor breakfast.
Table d’hôtes dinner in the old Château farm
We serve dinner in the table d’hôtes restaurant of Château de la Resle every Saturday evening between June 1st and October 1st on reservation only. You can send us an email if you wish to stay for dinner, the menu is described below.
We use organic, local and seasonal herbs and vegetables as much as we can. Our trout comes from a local organic fish farm using water from it’s own source. We cook everything ourselves the same day.

Tabouleh of cauliflower and avocado with fresh mint
Organic fillet of trout with a tapenade of celery, olives and raisins. Green asparagus with eggs and capers
Panna cotta of Greek yoghurt with Pernod poached peaches
Coffee or tea with sweets
Menu: €65 per person including aperitif, water and coffee or tea. Please reserve a table at the same time as your room, we require a minimum of 6 guests. Open every Saturday evening between June 1st and October 1st.
Gourmet platters every day of the week
The other days of the week we will be happy to share our favourite restaurant addresses in the area with you. In case you want to continue enjoying the setting of the Château, we can serve you a gourmet platter for lunch or dinner with local products (soup, salad of the day, cheese & charcuterie, rillettes of trout, dessert).
We recommend to order in the evening for the next day to guarantee availability and freshness (€50 for two excluding wine).
What we will serve next time really depends on the ingredients we can source. We rather buy what we find, than search what we need!
